FuseBox Performing and Teaching at BlackBox Improv Festival 2009

We’re proud to announce that FuseBox Theatre Company is both performing and teaching at the BlackBox Improv Festival, this September 11-20th, 2009.

Both John and Mandy will be teaching workshops, and we’ll be performing our new two-person longform improv show.
FuseBox Theatre: John Sexton and Mandy Butler

John will be teaching Conflict Resolution, a workshop designed to help improvisers both work past conflicts within the context of a scene, and more importantly, use conflict and tension to your advantage to develop realistic, committed improvised scenes.

Mandy will be teaching Meisner in Improv, a unique workshop that applies the intense and sometimes controversial teachings of Sanford Meisner to scenic improvisation. This workshop was a huge hit last year, so be sure to sign up early if you want to get in!

Check out the BlackBox Improv Workshop schedule for more details!

If you’d like to see us perform, please check out our show at 8:00 on Saturday, September 19th at Under the Couch. Check out the full BlackBox show schedule for details.
