On Saturday, August 16th, FuseBox Theatre presents CRASH: An evening of Improv and Stand-Up Comedy.  This installment of CRASH features the the stand-up material of some of Nashville’s top comedians: Brian E. Kiley, Sean Parrott, and Chad Riden.

Our guests perform their routines and tell stories about their lives as comedians. The FuseBox Ensemble responds with a montage of scenes which explore, amplify, and show a different perspective on what Kiley, Parrott, and Riden have to say.

You Got Stand-Up In Our Improv

Brian E. Kiley - Clean Comedy

Brian E. Kiley

Brian E. Kiley was born and raised on Long Island in New York.  At an early age he discovered a love for stand-up comedy.  In 2007 he began pursuing his dream of performing in earnest and quickly became a crowd favorite.

Brian’s signature brand of clean comedy provides light hearted perspective on everyday life.  As co-creator of Nashville Comedy Chaos and The Three Brains of Comedy, Brian has performed all over Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and Utah.

Sean Parrott

Sean Parrot - Observational Absurdist

Since 2006, SEAN PARROTT has been bringing his charismatic stage presence and a unique point of view to comedy clubs and bars all over the Southeast. Brought up on Bugs Bunny and Monty Python, Sean is an observational absurdist with a keen eye for the humor in everyday life; our language, our friends and our commercials.  He was recently a Finalist in the Reader’s Digest Nashville’s Funniest Comic Competition.  Energy, intelligence, and wit make Sean Parrott one of the best young comics working today.

Chad Riden

Chad Riden - Expert Jackass

In order to fulfill his passion for jackassery, Chad Riden decided to embrace poverty and pursue a life of comedy.  He found both in Nashville, where after doing open mics for only a few months, Riden had regular bookings at Zanies Comedy Showplace.  Soon, Chad could be found performing everywhere from a tent in a Wal-Mart parking lot to the historic Ryman Auditorium. Chad has opened for Dave Attell, Doug Stanhope, and Bill Burr; and has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman’s “Tony Mendez Show”.

“...His observations on the domestic sphere teeter amiably on the edge, but when he wants to, Riden can still zing pop culture, the media and American life in general with incisive wit.” – The Nashville Scene.

Great Stand-Up, Great Improv: Everyone Wins
